RIP in peace. Stereophonics went downhill after he left IMHO. Great drummer, great personality, always played with a smile on his face.

Really sad news

sad news - i had the misfortune of working away in Birmingham a couple of years back and used to enjoy his Kerrang show. He always managed to slip in Stereophonics song as well, gotta keep the royalies coming in i guess!
Way too young as well, RIP

Gutted. This guy was a real legend to the first generation phonics fans, and a massive personal influence on our Al. RIP boyo.

Bloody hell only just heard this...he was a great drummer.
Saw Stereophonics years ago when he played with them...fantastic musician and will be missed...the band went downhill after he left anyway.

It's funny how the sheeple are brainwashed into word association to link the words 'conspiracy' and 'Theory' together thus suggesting all conspiracies are only theories. Whereas socially accepted 'facts' like The Ice Age, Evolution, Big Bang etc are no more than 'theories' themselves.
How many people are aware of 'facts' like Operation Northwoods, or the PNAC documents.....both of which would change written history as we know it if they were studied in schools.....
But hey, this is a music forum.....

Beg to differ Gary, but 'The Ice Age' is a bit more than a 'theory', there is factual evidence for it. Big Bang and Evolution, however, are still being argued.

I do not wish to start a mass conspiracy debate on this forum but the only 'evidence' for an ICE AGE was a polar bear skull 'found' in a Scottish cave.....I believe the Ice Age was a 'man made' event from a think tank of powerful people who wanted to offer a different solution to the Biblical flood story, thus discrediting religion so 'they' could gain control of the 'flock' ....just as Evolution discredits the 'creation' stories.....

I'm not saying you're wrong, so don't get your back up. All I'm saying is it's an interesting topic and not one I thought you would have any interest in (from the little that I know about you). Just goes to show.

Personally, I prefer scientifically proven facts to socially accepted ones. Conspiracies often fall somewhere between the two and are therefore still theories (in my eyes). And unless you've actually seen and examined evidence that can prove or disprove events (and only the priviledged have), then you're just another sheeple following a different crowd.

A really good band in the early days; I had the privilege of seeing them at a free festival in Cardiff while visiting mates in the mid 90s.

BTW evolution is pretty much established scientific fact. The details of the how/why/when of it are being hotly debated.

If such proof existed it would no longer be a conspiracy.....more double-speak.....and you say I twist everything.....but offer nothing to prove your outrageous claim.
Everything I've said on here can be researched, if you are willing to put in the effort.....most sheeple are happy with the accepted version of historical events without ever being aware of documents like Operation Northwoods, PNAC and Project MASCAL etc.....

You are correct, a conspiracy is no longer a conspiracy when there is hard proof to establish that it was an actual event. That's not double speak. That's the simple truth. With such a comprehensive list of conspiracies, you would think that just one would have provided at least some solid evidence? Question everything.

In the case of Operation Northwoods there is an actual document which outlines the plans of the American government....hard factual evidence....
Same with PNAC...
Same with MASCAL...and many others.
