c'mon guys its only once every 4 years for fooks sake, I am a rugby league mon and dont know nowt about footy ( and cant stand it normally)but I'll be cheerin the lads on....get into the spirit of things ya might enjoy it ;-)

I'd probably enjoy it more if it wasn't associated with all the nobbers in the pubs and the plague of bloody car flags.

only drawback i can see is that the pubs will be full of people watching football who no feck all about football, clogging the bar up, knicking all the best seats and then smashing the feckin place up when England lose. (probably same feckers who bought all the ACDC tickets last year!!!) - Rant over, have a good weekend folks! :-)

Football stopped being any great concern as soon as England let the rest of the world start to play the game and then regularly humiliate us at it.

I'm not sick of the football as they're been some fantastic games (ignoring the French one). What I am sick of is those bloody horns and the endless Hyundai adverts. Though if Hyundai do dream my dreams (as the advert claims) that implies they have nightmares about Burt Reynolds and George Kennedy (in drag) doing horrendous things to them. In which case, poor sods!
