Slash attacked on stage in Milan

Thankfully nothing serious

Fromm his show in Milan last Thursday - thankfully nothing real serious (other than a screwed Les Paul). Start of the Sweet Child O Mine solo and he gets back to his feet and tries carrying on - now that is rock & fooking roll!

Good job it wasn't a plastic bottle of water - like Morrisey - could forgive him for ditching the entire gig then eh?

I know what you mean - there is something fairly amusing about the way he lumbers on and basically fucks up his masterplan...

If it is I have a very similar sick sense of humour! But no - you have to find the humour in this one. Like you say - how the hell did he miss?

Ok, fairplay to slash with carrying on and all, and that guy who ran on, (tho it was rather funny) is a twat, something about slash's playing (before the guy attacked him obviously) dosent sound right.
I duno if the guitar is slightly out of tune or the sound quality on the video isnt great, but slash's playing sounds rather crap? Or at least not as good as the record.
I no this is committing rock suicide and ill probably get a load of flak for it, but its just my opinion.

I tell you what Slash must have such a cool/calm temprement (i met him and he seemed that way) but I'd of been right off after that fucker if it was me he'd just attempted to mame with a full on 'All Blacks' style assualt... but he's never anythin' but a pro I suppose.

The security guy gets him and deserves every penny of his fee for that night. He knew he was taking him offstage without a care for getting hurt himself.

Yeah slash sounds pissed here. Could have been another Dimebag Darrell moment though, so there's a prob if he can get to him. Saw him yesterday at Download fest and he played well.

I like the way he plays 'air guitar' for a few moments while his roadie gets him a new one.....very 'Bad News'.....

not an ounce of the diva in him from that clip! could've walked off stage for that - it's happened before!

you've got to wonder how the guy got on stage, and even if it was a joke, in this era after the dimebag incident, he shouldn't have got up there.

@the Synergy - I saw g'n'r in 1990 for the Use your illusions tour, and this is just how Slash plays live. I'm not knocking what he does in any way - he's an awesome guitarist, he just doesn't do the widdly stuff as millimetre perfect as the others (vai, malmsteen etc) - it seems to be more about the feel for him. i'm sure we all make mistakes in a live situation!

@Gary - Bad News?!! bloody awesome. Their version of Oh Pretty Woman is absolutely legendary!

'pretty woman....... walking down....... the fackin street' !!!

shocking that a loon can get access to the stage that easily, even more shocking the guitar tech stood in a daze when he should have got Slash a new guitar , what if had been a broken string or a fault and Slash is stood there like a lemon with no guitar
