The Brierfield… last night….what I learnt.

Lesson one – if there is a ramp use it, or you will pull a muscle in your back carrying those heavy speakers up the steps… and that proper hurts..

Lesson two – don’t take heavy duty anti inflammatory medication on an empty stomach. And definitely don’t wash it down with lager…

Lesson 3 – throwing up twice just before going on stage takes you mind off pre gig nerves…

Lesson 4 – the feeling that you may have to dart to the bogs at any time takes your mind off over analysing what your doing…

Lesson 5 (the most important one – the Brierfield is a damn fine venue. Nice big pub/restaurant.. (the grub looked really good, just a shame I couldn’t have stomached some)…we did feel a bit cramped in the bay window, Lovely clientele and brilliant staff, who helped me in my hour of bilious need, big thanks to them.. Thanks to Karen from Shine. Thanks to all who turned up…
Looking forward to going back later in the year..
Cheers.
