I only know a few people off here but I would work with most of them

Daz from hare of the dog
Ian Riff Raff
DC Trio
Tony from Band of gypsies (cracking voice)
Stuart From RFB
Sin after sin
probably loads more but I can't think of the names at the moment

I've worked with a few peeps off here in various guises and capacities and can honestly say I'd have no problem gigging with any of em in the future. Alyerpal, Chris (ride on), Ben Murray, Kingpin Roj have all depped in the kicks and are all diamond geezers, and I've met some really good folks who though we've never jammed I'd be delighted to share a stage with if the opportunity ever arose!

doesnt necessarily have to be ass kissing you may not even like the some people on here, but may be impressed by what they do,sting and stewart copeland think each other are superb, but they really cant stand each other

theres a big difference between ass kissing and just being a generally decent person that respects others and their opinions, even if you disagree

# Posted by Ian from Bolton - 21/06/2010, 16:45 (GMT)

Without kissing a single arse, I have definitely played with a number of people on here:
Ian from Riff Raff and T'Ruins - always fun to play with him and Sag. They know millions of songs, have no fear, know exactly how to improvise and are brilliant players.
Waz, when we were in T'Runners together.
Paul Bowers - an excellent player.
Ken from Hare of the dawg - what a drummer.
We've had Max up with us - always good to see him.

Alec from Night Train may get me up with him at some point. That would be good.

A series of Bad Habits reunion gigs may be on the cards at some point, probably next year.

No plans to do any moonlights at all (except as last minute emergency one-offs), as my time-off is valuable. I've stopped taking sessions and going to jam nights for that reason.

.... and isn't it true that Supergroups never work!!
They generally turn into a night of the same old boring jam night songs.
Two people asked me for Freebird the other night and I had to explain how it brings me out in a rash, even if it comes on the radio.

Contrary to what other people might think, all my reviews of bands have been honest and to the point - I have not seen a bad band off NWB yet, nor have I met any people I wouldn't be happy to jam with.
I've already achieved one of my 'before I die' moments - sharing a stage with the legend that is Willow and the mighty Mick from Bad horsie and Roj (who wasn't our bass player then).
Would love to jam with Mr Roberto whatever your monicker is at the moment Redfern, and Graham Meerkat. Have also depped for The Kicks and Mr Gordon Dyehouse(stresshead, but a great guy and superb player) and his band. Kev (Metalleeka) is a top bloke also aswell.
Oh shit, everybody!

As a relatively new NWB I haven't met too many bands off here, but of the ones I have...

AYP & Roj of Kingpin
Idle Promise
Rik 45's
Daz (Grooverman) - already been in bands with but on Drums never on vox
Catdog - but couldn't possibly equal Chris on Vox!!!

@ Rik sounds a proper giggle to me mate ..bring it on LOL!

All the usual suspects for me, and Mr Grooverman .... was a phonecall away at one time... missed opportunities and all that i guess, but that missed opportunity led to greased chicken nugget conservative club in workington playing crowded house, proclaimers and the laas to pensioners who looked like they didnt even have there hearing aids switched on!!! Damn Daz why didnt it happen it has left me scarred!!!

Hmmm... Toughy...

I would probably work with:

Everyone from Riff Raff

Everyone from Fourth Legacy

Everyone from Metalleeka (Yes, Mr. Redfern, that does include you)

Everyone from Night Train

I've already been up and played guitar with the lovely people from Hallowed, and I do it again, and again...

I'd gladly work with the Dean Casement trio any day of the week.

Finally, I'd gladly work with the guitarist and drummer of Vera Cruz.
