I use '7Digital'. Also 100% legal and now 100% MP3, mostly without licence restrictions. (Sorry Mr NWB, i'm buggering your sales pitch here) :-)

Napster is criminally underrated IMO. I've got 'to go' which is fifteen pound a month and you can upload your music to compatible MP3 players. Absolute quality, as much music as I like. And the program itself is like going round the HMV except everything is free. Great if you want to experiment with stuff.

Why people use i Tunes is beyond me, it just seems like iPod have gone this nazi-monopoly on downloaded music and are too blind to use anything else. iPod's are overpriced and always break, and to download an album on itunes quite often costs more than it does to buy the CD. Where's the appeal? Wake up!

Probably a stupid question, but can Napster stuff actually play on an ipod? I've got an ipod with loads of tracks that aren't itunes as such, normal mp3s. Are these what Napster provide?
