May recall somtime ago I posted about a hit and run collision?

Well it's happened again AAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!

I returned from a lovely time in Devon to find me car parked on the street and someone had pimped with the 'Just had a wagon dragged along the side of it' look. Neighbour then came out and told me it happened Monday morning and Artic came down the street big bang and didn't stop - no details of the company name or reg number. DAMN!!!!!!!

Been reported to dibble. But now my beloved Jalopy/sexmachine - that already had a H&R stripe on it - is now worth even less, practically zilch. Powerless, victimised, arsed off. Where's me blunderpuss !!?!?!??

Not much you can do really pal, unless the pavement is wide enough to allow the road to be widened in which case you would need to get a petition and lobby your council / MP.....Tex

Yeah thanks for the replies fella's.

I know it's tough sh*t for me. The first H&R collision was a when I was driving, a car pulling out of a road and caught mine...

On this one my car and a neighbours door mirror cover were damaged.

Cars are parked half of the kerb. But I left mine full on the road. First time I have had this prob in 10+ yrs I have lived there...

Anyone noticed how many cars are driving around with scars, scuffs and dents ? Is their a culture of not making a claim as insurance will increase ?

My first ever car was a boy racers banger but my 2nd car was brand new.. but soon after it was vandalised on TIME computers car park at Altham. Since then I have mainly bought cars that are slightly aged and aethestically challenged as they are often cheaper and you can "relax" a bit more when leaving them on pub car parks etc. Also my wife and kids tend to treat them as dodgems.

Too expensive and painful to bother getting them "tidied" when it'll no doubt happen again.

That's really bad news, there's absolutely no need for the driver to knock on and apologise or even just stick a note with his details on your windscreen.

I drive a jalopy with pride, though I do worry about what'd happen if I crashed the thing. Top tip, if you own an older car do not, I repeat not, go on the Euro N-Cap website and do a search for it! According to that thing if I crash it at a speed of 40mph I'll live but there's a real chance I'll have no arms or legs!

Had a nice Alfa 156 sometime ago, quick and smooth as you like - cost an arm and 2 legs to run. Plus dare not stick anything in it..

I have the same view on cars, as long it keeps going, have no problem with how it looks. ALL CARS look sheeite on the back of a tow truck anyhow!!
NAH leave all the Chelsae tractors and pocket rockets to those that feel the need to have to have them. And they're welcome to 'em.. :)

Inanimate objects / false statement anyway...;0)
