Help The Heroes Charity Night Sat at Tonge Moor Leisure and Social Club

From about 1pm-6pm Classic Bike show

10.00 Idle Promise

Rock disco with the above from about 5pm

Its £3 entry pay on the door.

Usual auctions raffles etc to be held during the evening

It would be great if some of you could get down to support this cause it should be a great night. All monies raised will be presented to the soldier from Bolton who lost both his legs and one arm in one of the conflicts. He is doing a trike ride from Lands End to John O Groats on the August Bank holiday weekend and the proceeds of Saturday night will be presented to him when he passes through Preston. All monies raised by himself together with the proceeds of Saturday night will then be presented to Help the Heroes Charity by him.

Thanks Innuendo and Roj. Its a fantastic big room with a big stage holds around 250 people so we are looking forward to it. He only asked us a couple of weeks ago as he had had some bands pull out because of problems and a couple who got paid gigs instead. It was actually a free night for us as we only do 2 nights in a weekend and we were booked Friday and Sunday but agreed to do it. Anyway the New Inn closed so its still only 2 gigs this weekend anyway. Beaumont Arms on Sunday at 4 before World Cup final
