requires very cheap cymbals

Hi guys,

don't suppose anyone out there has some old cymbals they might be willing to part with for a small amount of dosh,

my youngest has decided to take up the sticks (I know .. I did try Lol !!)

I've managed to acquire a kit from our drummer but I need to acquire a hi hat and maybe a couple of cymbals.... I have all the stands .... just the cymbals I need...

he's only 10 so I don't wanna pay a lot in case he gives up ....and as usual I'm skint again !! don't need to be great quality just something he can practice on inbetween his lessons

cheers

I have some Solar Sabians, they're the lowest in the Sabian range but they're much better than the shit cymbals you'd get on a starter kit. Gigged with them up until recently so they can't be that bad haha... Theres a ride, crash and hi hats with a sabian bag...was gonna put them on ebay so they're yours for £40 with the bag if you want? Give me a message if you're interested...

We had the same problem when we first started out, tying to find a decent set of cheap cymbals. Problem is with cymbals is what you pay for is what you get!
Bast way is looking round on e-bay, and i know all Sabian, Zildjian and Paiste do entry level (but decent) cymbals at decent prices.
