Acoustic Venues out there.

A new venture, but where to play ?

After discussions with our lead guitarist, and on the back of our recent unplugged outing which was received very well, we have decided to start going out as an acoustic duo ( alongside our CATDOG commitments).

No backing tracks, just two acoustic guitars and vocals doing a range of material in a layed back style.
Obviously not in the kind of venue we play with Catdog, more the smaller pubs or restaurants that perhaps can`t accomodate a full band.

SO, can anyone recommend suitable places to approach, preferably no more than an hour / 1.5 hrs radius of Kendal?

Chris, contact 'Sleeping Through The Day' off this site. It's Paul our singers side project, and they are exactly the same - accoustic duo, no backing tapes. He'll be able to tell you where they play.
Don't know if they'll be in your radius, but give it a go.
