With you all the way on that one Rob. Honorable mentions also go to Don Henley (Inside Job Live), The Eagles (Farewell Tour Live From Melbourne), AC/DC Live at Donington, Sheryl Crow (Rockin' The Globe, Muse (H.A.A.R.P. Live at Wembley) and Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live from Austin Texas. Oh - and the DVD I made from the BBC coverage of Quo at Glastonbury last year.

Floyd at Venice is a great one, as is Pulse.
My mate has the ACTUAL drumkit from the Pulse tour.

There are a couple that really work for me that I love to go back to, but some of them are not in the shops.

Slade's last UK show 17.12.1983 @ Liverpool Royal Court Theatre (bootleg).

Queen at The Rainbow 1974 (bootleg).

Cheap Trick's Music for hangovers (Official and far better than Budokan)

Cheap Trick - Silver (official DVD of their hometown 30th anniversary show)

The Who - 'The kids are alright' has so many superb moments. I watched it with my 18 year old son the other week and he was a bit astonished - here's just one song :

Almost all the G3 Live DVDs. Not the most extravagent in terms of stage presence but some of the songs they do as a group are quite simply epic.

Complete Madness, had it for donkeys years and even my now adult kids ask me to put it on every now and then because it reminds them of when it used to be played in their childhood years

I think Gimme Shelter is excellent and The Kids Are Alright, but the 3 hour footage of Woodstock wins it by a mile for me!

Does The Commitments count? Not particularly for the music but simply because it is a damn fine film.

Whitesnake- live in the still of the night is freakishly boss, although I do suspect vocal overdubs galore.
Slayer - War at the Warfield for sheer relentless brutality
Bruce Springsteen and the E street band - Live in New York City for a great performance with some amazing tunes.
Alice in Chains - Music Box(after a beer this gets a bit emotional. Damn his early death).
Can't go wrong with any of these dude.
