Has anyone dabbled in making music videos?

I'm looking to upload a track I'm working on to youtube, but want to try and create a video for it.

Trouble is, wouldn't have a fookin clue where to start lol
Other than adding some dodgy camcorder footage and photos of my ginger ass onto microsoft movie maker pmsl

Has anyone done this before?
Anyone know any students studying film movie camera sh!t stuff at college/uni that would fancy using me as a guinea pig? :-D

You could try Windows live movie maker for simplicity, you can use photgraphs and add various effects to them to create your video

Hi Scott, i did a little montage type video to go with a recording of a cover we did live. I didnt have any video footage, so used a load of photos and edited it in microsoft movie maker. It didn't take long and, although its not gonna make it onto MTV any day soon, at least its not just 3 and a half minutes of our band's name on a still screen.
Have a look and if you need any more advice, dont hesitate to contact me.
other than that, getting a media studies student to do it for you sounds like a good plan too.

I use Sony Vegas or Pinnacle studio, but to be honest if you want cheap and cheerful Windows Movie Maker should do.
But Scott ... keep your ass under wraps please!!

Looking to have the track finished by next week so then I can start thinking about what I'm gonna do. Still don't know whether it should be serious or taking the piss lol
