a morning of drama, bagpipes lords, Police etc
I was asked by a rail union to perform in my bagpipeing capacity at a protest yesterday outside Manchesters Hilton Hotel, the chief exec Ian Coucher is the fattest of the fat cats getting millions in public money and a Scottish estate on the Mull of Kintyre (which isnt in the highlands as stated in the report but never mind)
a noisey group of protersters with placards and a fake "laird" handed out flyers to share holders, however I started playing a lot of very smartly dressed Hilton Hotel managers came out grumbling and called the cops, who couldnt do anything as we had right of protest etc. frustratingly for the Hilton staff a lot of the guests came out and enjoyed the show and I posed for pix with a lot of the guests, all in all an eventful morning
anyway it made the national news
