Film One no longer appearing at the Blue Cat in Stockport :(
Unfortunately our last minute gig at the Blue Cat on Friday is no longer going ahead. I'm not sure why, Munroman just texted me last night to tell me the bad news. Doh!
Couldn't Dougal sort out the Blue Cat?
I can't say I am surprised Mike. Although a great venue they are the worst in the world to deal with.
Unfortunately, the power trip of being named Prime Minister by the aforementioned moggy has rendered him useless. Perhaps Munroman and I should paint ourselves blue too and see what happens? In reality at best we'd just look like a rubbish "blue man group" tribute act (poo man group?), at worst we'd be sectioned. And on that bombshell, I'll stop talking nonsense! In reality, I'm gutted as I had a few mates coming along to watch. Doh! Never mind.
yeh great venue but really really hard work....way too 'trendy' and way too overpriced drinks. At the end of the day, its just another pub!
Not sure what the crack is for us, we were supposed to be warming up for his mate's band from work. Shame, it looked like it'd be just the job for us - particularly as it's only around the corner from Film One HQ.
