Not seen ya for a while!.. Mind you. We've not been to Burnley since Christmas 2009, when we were @ The Sparrowhawk! lol

Not as clever as it was with venues closing down hand over fist :( and this sort o prank dont help(as above) ...That was a good gig was it not :)))) ...wish the sparrow was still open i miss it....the talbot is doing well again now...its packed all the time and the new tennants are ace...and doing real well for booking decent bands (with a bit of help and information ;) ...) as are a few more wanting to put bands on...lets hope this is going be a turn round in our beloved music venues..and we can rock Burnley and beyond again ...fingers crossed Lovely to hear form you

I always enjoyed the Sparrowhawk, the beer was great the last time we was there, even though I was talking absolute nonsense after several "libations" was great to have a beer as am always driving, hopefully we'll see you again soon Kath.

LOL..the beer was always spot on..beer n bands..cant beat it !! as i recall i joined you in the absolute nonsense department..;) yeah hopefully you will trap up here soon :)) ..as i said the Talbot is up and running as a band venue again..;) ill put a word in if ya like..:)) as a freind not an agent...lol..not doing that just yet but seriously thinking of it
An you know where i amif ya want another night of beer and nonsense you can crash at mine...am a couple of quid taxi ride awy

Oh ya tempting me now.....We've not been up that way for a while now. We always went down well up that neck of the woods, just the distance and getting home at daft 'o' clock was a bit of a bind, but it was well worth it from the appreciation of the punters up there that we got.

If "all the planets align correctly" hopefully we may be up there at some point during 2011.

Its a very good little town to play at..with a large live music following..we have been spoiled here for a lot of years seen some great stuff<just lost Ken and Tina from the hart as you will know...:(((( they really put a lot of effort in for music..fliipin cryng shame but saw them both last night on the other side of the bar...both lookng well and enjoyng a bit of a rest :) Its open again now ..but no bands..but do hear on the grape vine it may well do soon..hope so :)
Yeah try and align those planets i have a five berth very comfortable caravan with electirc and gas on on my drive for any one that can't fit in my house for bands n other halfs that want a stop over
ah well as you can see...the orginal blog has been pullled...as it is Mikes shout to do so and i respect him for it....but i will be back to have my say in a decent manner about recent events..on my own blog...that Mr NWB can pull if he thiks its not a debateable subject...or a good place to tell it as it is out there in bandland.
