Isn't 'Finn' Irish or Celtic? Finn Lizzy is the closest phonetically, and actually the way a lot of people wouls say 'Thin Lizzy'

The problem with "Then Lizzy" in my eyes is that is doesn't have the "in" sound of "Thin Lizzy", whereas "Twin Lizzy" (as mentioned by someone further up) does...Twin Lizzy would get my vote!

okay-even though "finn" is , akcsherly, GAELIC-NOT celtic (as is apropriate -means "fair one" or "white"!!) that works best, methinks??? :-D

"Finn" or "Fionn" In Irish Gealic or Scots Gàidhlig means bright or white or Blond, Interestingly V "Finn" is also a Scandanavian name meaning someone from Lapland.

Having met Roj, I think the band should be Lancashire Lizzy. Which is short for "Lancashire Lizzy, tepid... TEPID!!"

In all seriousness, Thinner Lizzy is the best of your suggestions. Finn Lizzy is only good when written down, otherwise it sounds too much like the original band name.

pretty sure ive seen thin lizzy tribute bands called tin lizzy and finn lizzy in the past dont know if they are still around though,what about live n lizzy

I think you'll find way back in the mists of time that the shortening of the phrase "it isn't Lizzy" to the northern vernacular was mine!

I have also regsitered all variations, like The T'int Lizzy and The Last T'int Lizzy Band In Town. Inclusion or exclusion of the grammatically correct apostrophe have been registered.
