THIS IS IT!

As Michael Jackson once said...

Sadly after 4 very enjoyable years Viva are announcing that the gig on September 25th will be our last..

Basically we are losing our drummer Neil this month and gigs haven't been going as well (just had too many cancellations and venues messing us about etc), so after going out with a bang at the Mathew street festival (we played to 50,000!)) we're reluctantly calling it a day..

Many thanks to everyone who we've met in the past who've been to see us.. It's been fun!

If you're not doing anything on the 25th come and see our farewell gig at the Cherry Gardens in Wigan.

All the best

Shaun

Many thanks for your kind comments guys. I will miss the band a LOT but the simple fact is we just werent getting enough work out of it :/

MSF was bloody amazing John! You were awesome mate, everyone I was with said you sounded just like Mr Collins! Was extremely proud of the Viva lads as well, we played out of our skin and was so glad to go out on a high (it was one of the bands's ambitions to play the main stage and we finally did).. At least we went out with a bang!

I'll probably try and resurrect Pink Floydish and end up in some 70's classic rock band now lol!!

Losing a member? Gigs not going well? Cancellations? Sounds familiar. Welcome t'club.

Never got to see you but good luck in your future projects.
