Im gonna tell you a little story now about my new amp...
So I buys a Fender Super Reverb basicly my dream amp 4x10 the dogs bollocks.... I brought it home last week after it being imported from the states, then bein' changed over to UK voltage (6 weeks wait)... Finally I get it... but with all the hospital shit goin on and me bein' ill and all that I wasn't in the frame of mind nor could I be arsed to try it out... Just kinda leaned my guitars against it while I watched tele thinkin how good it looked, you know all the school kid bollocks...
This morning comes, still not a1 bit rough head still a little bit like glue kinda thing... Wondering how I'm gonna get to the gig as my mates not home yet, my other lift I ring her up and she's boarding a fuckin ferry to Normandy or somwhere where they have brass bands on... 3rd option is an air line compressor engineer kinda bloke who happens to be on call, who has been called out to some place in Wales he told me the name but it just sounded like he was clearing his throat... As a stroke of luck my other mate calls for a chat and what not, who just so happens to be playing guitar in one of the bigest bands in the world at the moment, who happens to be home for a few weeks before embarking on a european and US tour, so I thought fuck it it's worth a shot... Anyway he's givin' me a lift so that's that sorted....
So anyway my amp... Plugs it in, man it sounds shit hot, turned it up alls mega im thinking this is the best sounding amp ever... Gets my old TubeScreamer runs that in sounds mint, just enjoyin myself with it... But then I can only put it down to me using and old showman that the reverb doesn't work on for not adding reverb... But guess what the 'Super Reverb on this Super Reverb amp doesnt fucking work...!!! Gets on the phone again to the rather large musical instrument outlet that for the time being shall remain nameless until the fuck me about again and I'll go medievil on them... Anyway they rekon it's something and nothing so I'm carting it back tomorrow, in two mnds to use it tonight tho as I'm itching for it big time....
Then i have a mild anxiety attack... which is just what you want init...
... So please come to our gig tonight and cheer me up, we're gonna play some Led Zeppelin and everythin.
