On tour with the Flame
As part of Cold Flame's gigging schedule for September, the chaps will be playing two rock/blues gigs this coming weekend.On Friday September 24th the chaps are set to play a rare home town gig in Glossop at the Moon and Sixpence in Glossop,Derbyshire which will feature some of the band's original vindaloo rocking blues material alongside some classic Tull , Free,Whitesnake, Mountain and Hendrix covers. The following day sees Cold Flame travelling across to the Old Market Tavern in Altrincham,Cheshire where they will be joined by guest flautist Mark Parkinson and the venues new pa system. Some Jethro Tull classic material will be included in this performance which will also feature many of the band's original music and covers from their rock heroes.Mark may even try and stand on one leg if asked.
Both shows are free and start around 9pm with a late bar and refreshments provided.Hope to see lots of friends and the merely curious in what will be two hour plus performances..For more info please contact either the venues or email the band at info@cold-flame.co.uk

ps..Should there be a problem in getting to see the band check out other dates posted on this site.Most admittedly are sans flute but there are a couple listed where Mark will be joining the band...for example The Pub in Lancaster on Friday October 1st.Thanks to those comments already posted on northwestbands earlier this week much appreciated by the crew.
