Old Isaacs can anyone give me a contact email from which they reply

Booked two dates dont know if we cancelled or not

We originally were booked for 29 October but this was changed to 5 Nov by the previous landlady because the band on 5 Nov couldnt do that date. We then received an email cancelling us for 29 October by the new manager same as a few bands on here did. This cancellation was for 29 Oct not 5 Nov. We telephoned 3 times re 5 Nov date and emailed several times and did not get a response - left a message with the person who answered the call but our call was never returned. I then noticed on the gig guide under the venue Atherton we are booked for 29 Oct which somone has posted not us. I emailed this person no response. I just want to sort it out one way or the other. Can anyone help ? If you are booked in our place for either of these dates at least we will know where we are or if you do have a contact number of someone who can give us an answer that would be great

If you call the landline number after 6pm, and ask for Lauren, she is the girl who handles the bookings. Or was when we played there around a month ago.....

Whos Richard Martin and whos Kat Also noticed we are suppose to be booked 5 Nov but I have removed this from the gig guide. Also Cold Flame down to play same date and also Kingpin down to play same day. Its not good communication but rather get it sorted then have 2 bands turning up or none at all. No one in for 29 October on gig guide apart from us but Richard Martin whoever he is cancelled us apparantly

called into old issacs a couple of fridays when going to the jolly nailer. they dont seem to have bands on fridays anymore its karaoke? but check it out

hello this all sounds very familiar.The band had a gig booked then it got postponed to December and then it got cancelled when we received a message to that effect.Patrick from the band spoke to Richard Martin about the venue and bookings.RM seemed reasonable enough but hinted that maybe the venue was heading in a different direction away from live bands playing rock music.Not heard anything since though the guys would certainly play the venue again if asked.Cold Flame have no gig booked on Nov 5th so that is interesting to know that the band features on the gig schedule.

I spoke to Mary at The Jolly Nailor a couple of weeks back and she told me then that Isaacs were cancelling live Friday gigs and putting karaoke on - looks like she was right.
We (Kingpin) have been trying to check on 5th Nov aswell, as we are booked in for then.
This is NOT looking good......

Trouble is Mary we have rang them 3 or 4 times and no one will give you any info and then no one will return your call. I think anyway from the comments above we have been cancelled on 29 October by Richard Martin and Kingpin have the 5 November booking so I will try and get some alternative bookings somewhere for both those date.

we sometimes use the function room to rehearse and was there tonight (wednesday). I mentioned this post to Richard (Landlord) and he says he knew nothing about it. He has asked me to post his contact details for ALL BANDS to confirm their bookings. He also asked me to clarify that they are NOT having karaoke on a Friday (or Saturday), just live bands.
My personal opinion is that the diary seems to be mixed up because of 2 management changes this year and Lauren, who dealt with bookings and the NWB account is no longer employed by them.
Anyway, here are Richards contact details as per his request:

hi all this is richard the landlord from the old isaacs, just to confirm we are running bands indefinately and all bookings still stand for fridays and saturdays. the karaeoke was a one off as a band cancelled at the last moment and i could not get any other form of entertainment at such short notice and i use the word entertainment lightly as a discription for karaeoke. it was pure hell to be honest. lauren is still employed by me and will continue to be so when she returns from sick in a couple of weeks. as for the bookings we have i will asap put the full list on this site to stop the confusion . if anyone wishes to contact me in the mean time my email address is richardmartin711@googlemail.com moby 07707523517
