Cold Flame live with Regenisis - Friday October 29th - The Picturedome Holmfirth

REGENISIS TO PERFORM THE TRESPASS ALBUM ON ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY IN A TWO HOUR SHOW WITH SPECIAL GUESTS COLD FLAME ACOUSTIC ---
FRIDAY OCTOBER 29TH - THE PICTUREDOME HOLMFIRTH.

ReGenesis are the UK's best loved and most successful Genesis tribute band, presenting stunning performances based around the early art-rock years when Peter Gabriel fronted the band. They have headlined at 3 UK Genesis conventions the last of which (2006) included appearances from original Genesis members (Steve Hackett, John Mayhew, Anthony Phillips).

They have appeared in Mojo, Billboard, Record Collector and Classic Rock magazines, and appeared briefly in Channel Four's 'Top ten Progressive Rock Bands of All Time' during the section dealing with Genesis. They have also performed critically acclaimed productions of 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway'
complete with costumes and video projections. Guitarist Steve Hackett has described their performances as 'Uncanny'.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the release of Genesis classic album 'Trespass' on the Charisma label, ReGenesis are pleased to announce a very special show celebrating this remarkable recording. ReGenesis will be performing a 2 hour show based around the key songs of 'Trespass' as well as complimentary favourites from later albums running all the way from 'Nursery Cryme' to 'A Trick of the Tail'. In addition to the classic songs, there will also be several songs seldom if ever performed before, making this a must for Genesis fans everywhere. As usual, care will be taken to be faithful to the original material whilst delivering the music with a unique energy and style which ReGenesis are well know for. ReGenesis have tackled the entire 'Lamb Lies Down on Broadway' and many other challenging performances, but the 'Trespass' show will be amongst their most ambitious efforts. A very special evening can be anticipated for Genesis fans everywhere.

Thanks John will certainly remember you guys to the band.

Thanks again the BB's your support is both noted and appreciated.Incidently though you suggested we get booked at The Cricketers, Alan has proved elusive and after approx five years of trying to get on albeit on occasional attempts, we reckon its time to give up on that venue - shame as all we hear about The Cricketers is good.Guess if the face fits etc..

Cheers from the Flame.

@"after approx five years of trying to get on albeit on occasional attempts, we reckon its time to give up on that venue"

Should this not go on the blog - "venues that don't reply to messages"

or perhaps they do and the "message" got lost or was ignored!!??
