Confirm your gigs

After some confusion over a booking in November, I have just had a text from Claire who has confirmed that all forthcoming bands have been cancelled due to complaints over noise from local residents.

if you are booked at The Bridgewater Hotel, I suggest you contact them to confirm.

R.I.P. another venue.

F@ck me.........................we're all gonna have to club together and buy some pubs to keep the music scene going at this rate!

In fairness to Claire, we (Lie Ability) got a txt as soon as gigs were cancelled and I know at least 2 other bands on here did. Shame its not doing gigs, cos its nice when there's a good line of communication between bands and venues which doesn't always happen.

Just to say, I wasn't criticising Claire. It seems some bands have been told, others haven't. It's a good job we checked our booking. We did have an issue over a possible double booking with No Reazon, but it's not really an issue now.

The bigger picture is it's a shame another venue has decided to stop putting live music on.
