Cease fire!

I don't want to be accused of censorship but.....

Everyone has an opinion and those opinions have been expressed. We're covering old ground with every other blog. Can we draw a line under it before it get's (any more) personal and dare I say (even more) boring?

I can't tell anyone what to do or say, but I emplore you all in the interests of the wider community to let it lie now and move on. It's counter productive and I want to finish my lunch :o)

I meet up with the guys and girls on here now and again
and we watch a band and have a piss up....so what!
its not a clique, you can go to one of these meet ups you know
as anyone else can...hey guess what you are supporting a venue too.

@ Aiden Yep no probs at all with that mate, on the rare weekend nights I'm not giggin I try my best to go out and support bands and venues, god knows the venues need the support in this climate! But there's no denying a few people in this community (names have already been mentioned!) have buddied up in a massive way and regularly place blogs up that bear no relevance to 95% of the folks on here. It's their perfect privelege to do that and I have no problem with it whatsoever, I love to see people getting along. I think it's just a bit out of order when somebody happens to mention it and gets told to grow up! S'posed to be a free country innit?

I remember this happening a year or so ago with the likes of scott(metaleeka), rob, roj, mick etc... they too, from what I recall were accused of being too cliquey on here and as a result I for one miss their comical anecdotes that used to appear on here ( hope u don't mind me mentioning ur names guys).
thing is....people start to mention cliques and the cliques stop telling the wider nwb community about their get togethers to avoid the stick they get.
its already been mentioned that they're put on here for anyone to go to and if you're gigging, got something else to do, don't want to go..then that's entirely up to you. I don't understand how people make 'cliques' out of open invitations?

i wanna talk about music and have some banter with like minded friends, but if i see blogs created just to stir up trouble or any negativity it just doesnt interest me,people trying to be controversial or challenging supposedly just bores me to tears, theres a lot of the nwb old schoolers that feel the same thing.
