Fair play to Rock Radio

Someone got it right on Remembrance day..........

11 o'clock, 2 mins silence and I'm listening to the traffic in London on the radio and I suddenly think "what on earth are they going to follow this with?"

I mean, you can't just crash into a bit of Black Sabbath or Metallica can you?

And then it comes on, absolutely brilliant, 'Brothers In Arms' Dire Strates.

How good is that?

I can't actually think of a more fitting track to play.

Well done 106.1 RR

We used to do Brother's in Arms years ago in a previous band and had two guys dressed as soldiers that were defeated in battle during the show. Always brought a lump to my throat and still does everytime I hear it
