which new albums have you played to bits since you got it this year?


for me its gotta be Alter Bridges latest Ab 3, awesome platter, i literally cant stop listening to it



also really got into The Gaslight Anthem, their latest album American Slang is an instant classic, and gotta love the slash album, i am wanting to get Foreigners new album very soon as well

ive discovered loadsa cool stuff this year, a new cool tip is a band called Saint Jude

Avenged sevenfold's Nightmare, Slash (got to agree Rob) Linkin Park's Thousand Sons & Lostprohets Betrayed all awesome albums

i really don't think i've listened to an album from this year apart from Koonyum Sun by Xavier Rudd - rootsy aussie didgeridoo funk

therefore - that one wins

Darrell Scott, Danny Thompson and Kenny Malone - Live in NC (not 2010 but new to me!)
The Felice Brothers - also not 2010 album but new to me
Mumford & Sons - but bored of that now!

I know they may not still be popular, but WTF happend to Limp BizKits new album? I was all for it, now I'm like, you know, I can't be arsed wtth it. Too bad, shouldn't promote what's not gonna be ready.

I`m with you Robert, AbIII is a real grower, Alter Bridge have got to be my favourite band at the moment.

Also, Slash and Friends has had a lot of listening this year, but I`m a bit bored of it now.
I tend to play new albums in the car till I`m sick of em.

Mine's been "Clinging to a Scheme" by a Scandinavian group called "The Radio Dept". It's a smashing blend of noise-pop/shoe gaze and synths. Love it to bits.

Vampire Weekend's "Contra" has probably had more plays than any other although I must admit... I haven't bought many 2010 releases.
