What is it like?????
Hi all. Just been asked to play there next Feb. Can anyone give me some info on it? Venue size? Stage Area? P.A / Lighting etc? Many thanks in anticipation John
we practice there and played a gig with Bin Liddy earlier this year. We are playing there on the 11th March with Black Rose I think lolGimme a call this evening and I'll fill ya in 07789773803Scott
Here are some pics when we played there in March this year
Cheers matey will do :-)
Look up Roundhouse, Halliwell on Facebook for more info. We're there on New Year's eve.
as you can see above from metaleeka it's quite a big stage the roomsize is pretty good too it's split into like a dancefloor area around the stage and a seating area around it couple times bigger than an average pub quite a small bar hope this helps
It's bloody great if you go wireless.....you can do a Freddie Mercury and go bounding up and down the stairs at either side, then go for a wander round the room and wave back at the guys....who says we dick about at practice lolIf I remember rightly, the room holds 200-250 comfortably, but they have had as many as 350 in before. It's a great venue, a great stage and great people running the place. The only downside, is that it's slightly out of the way, so you would really need to advertise to get the punters in. However, you guys easily sell out the MG, so you certainly have the following. I'll give you a shout next time we are practicing and you can come down and have a look.
Cheers all. Looks like we may not be able to get lights in due to ceiling height :-( Thanks for offer Scott will be in touch Best wishes and thanks again John
ah a good night that was, about 2 hours after these pictures i was totally battered on Guinness, but thats another story, great place ive always liked it and Derek is a legend
Mr Redfern,A legend or leg end your to kind
if theyre too tall for on the stage - theres loads of open space either side of the stage for your lights, just may need a re-position or two lol!
Minimum height is 9 feet for full rig but we trying to work round it
