dispelling a rumour....you know who you are

played the Red Lion in Longton last night, a very concerned landlord asked us when we were splitting up as he had been told that we had fallen out and gone to seperate bands. THIS IS NOT TRUE so please stop the rumours as it could have a detromental effect on our bookings and if we lose some due to the rumours being spread......(biting lip). Anthem are still going and will be for quite some time yet

yeah we know how you feel, somebody has been doing the same thing with us and then trying to get gigs on the strength of it,we know who has been doing this too !!!, as it happens 2 venues contacted us to clarify if it was true otherwise we might not have known about it.

It's just jealousy Mark, fuck 'em.

I remember shortly after our previous singer left, a landlord of one of our favourite regular venues told me he'd received 'a call' to say we'd split up...to this day I don't know who it was...sad c**t lol.
