Elias .T. Hoth has been writing his own original material and performed in and around the rock and blues scene for more than a decade!.
His songs where once described by one writer as no nonsense uncompromising hard hitting, nitty gritty rock, delivered with lashing of bible preaching hell fire and brimstones blood spitting venom. But that is ultimately for you to judge
But now at last the final deliverance of his new album “LET SLEEPIN DEMONS LIE” concludes what is for him the end of a 10 year journey giving a temporary rest bite on a long road. While Elias .T. Hoth has his well deserved break and time to reflect and takes stock of this personal watershed, as he will openly admit, its has often been a long painful journey full of struggle, bitter disappointments, abandonment, great angst, pain and personal suffering, but such is life and it is such suffering which makes us what we are!.
For Elias.T.Hoth the blues is best described as the decanting of the essence of the simplicity of the message. His message attempts to test the human condition, its moral questions and deals with its fears, darkness, torments and excesses. It attempts to reach out to those who have crossed those lines and warn others of its consequences and to tell you the fact that, that choice is ultimately yours.
His songs often look at those lines we all draw for ourselves examining how, where and why they are drawn, and how they change and the consequences of changing and crossing them. All original album songs, concepts. ideas, lyrics, all musical arrangements, including rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums and lead vocals are solely by Elias T Hoth.
I would like to take this special opportunity to thank (though words are really rather in adequate) from the very depths on my soul my beautiful wife Jan for everything. She has made my life so very special, for giving me a family and the courage, strength, understanding and meaning which has come through all her own tragedies and terrible sufferings. Above all know that I love her and that I am so grateful to the Lord for her being here with us today. She is has been an integral part of the reasons for my life and living and perhaps only now I can finally “Let Sleepin Demons Lie” for without our sufferings I could and would never have produced this work and it is to Jan my precious Wife to whom this album is finally and well deservedly dedicated.
I would also like to thank my twins, my son Adam and my daughter Amy for not interrupting to much during my long song writing sessions and reluctantly listening to my embryonic and often daft musical concepts and silly ideas. I just want to say that I love you both dearly more than you will ever know!
Sam Barnett the number 1 Elias.T.HOth Lead guitarist
Sam Barnett was just 17 when he produced the lead guitar solos for the new album and beyond doubt a teenage prodigy and certainly one of the UK’s top up and coming new brilliant talented rock lead guitarist. I shall be eternally grateful to Sam for his fantastic talent, energy, commitment and his friendship and above all his ultimate belief in the album.
Nick Marland Lead Guitar
Nick Marland is professional session guitarist Nick and has played with a diverse range of bands over the last 15 years including Mike Sweeny’s the “Salford Jets”, his own “Nick Marland Blues band” and is currently touring the UK with the brilliant blues and soul singer “Ruby Turner”. Nicks lead guitar work has created and captured a great deal of the of powerful mood depth and meaning to the album songs that they finally deserved from a truly very talented, gifted and unique professional thank you so much Nick.
Glenn Phillips Producer
All album tracks and sound engineering and mixing including key boards, piano, mouth organ, drums and bass sounds arrangements backing vocals are all by Glenn Phillips.
Glenn has been ever present in the development and construction of the “Let Sleepin Demons Lie” album. Glenn has greatly contributed with his own ideas, skills and talents on both a musical, artist and technical level it has been pleasure to be creative and work with him on what ahs been for me an epic project I could never have done it without him. Glenn has become a valued and trusted friend and I do very much look forward to our next Elias.T.Hoth album.
