That make yer blood boil...

The BBC did a poll for 'the most annoying songs of all time' (not just rock but all genres)....these were the results:

1. The Birdie Song - The Tweets
2. Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh - The Teletubbies
3. Barbie Girl - Aqua
4. Agadoo - Black Lace
5. I Should Be So Lucky - Kylie Minogue
6. We're Going To Ibiza - Vengaboys
7. Grandma We Love You - St Winifred's School Choir
8. Shaddap Your Face - Joe Dolce
9. Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus
10. Lady In Red - Chris De Burgh

The above are pretty dire, however it has to be these that 'annoy' me...why oh why were they ever made??? (in no particular order and no offence to any band that plays them):

Sweet Child O Mine (I know very popular but sooo overplayed)
Cotton Eyed Joe
Anything by U2
Umbrella (Rhianna)
Wuthering Heights
Hey Ya (Outkast)

But yup, Birdy Song deserves number 1 status ;-)

Played a gig in Failsworth about 18 months ago, just finished encore thanked the audience & some scrote come over askin us to play "sommat by R 'bastard' Kelly...he got a stern fuck off the thick twat.

Anything by La Roux, that woman is so irritating, and what makes it even more intolerable is that i have to 're-create' one of her tracks in a sequencing project in my Music Tech course at college! She's also bloody awful live! :@

hotel califkinfornia. shame The Eagles were a one hit wonder, whatever happened to them. A lot of bands played on rock radio seem to be one hit wonders tho. Sex on Fire, way overplayed and KOL have had one or 2 better songs released since, but that one keeps being played, that song will haunt them, it's their Silver Machine.
