was very good, i like Ricky Warwicks work with The Almighty, so i thought hed be good, and he was, yes i must admit it can never quite be the same when its without such a unique lead singer as Phil, but to keep the music alive and pay tribute to the legacy, it was impressive and faithful, my favourite song that night? cowboy song, Brian Downey coming back is what swung it for me and make me want to go(he is one of my favourite drummers ever(along with prtnoy, aldridge, paice, bonham and powell) marco mendoza is always great and as a big def leppard fan it was cool to see viv campbell being able to get more lead parts than he does in def leppard, Scott Gorham as always is so cool and one of my heroes and for darren wharton on keyboards, it was a nice local gig for him, he took some of the vocals on still in love with you which was really cool

there was a great overall sound, the drums didnt sound too bassy, and everything could be heard very well, i enjoyed it a lot, but as with the sykes lineup you can still never quite get away from that feeling that its not the same without such an iconic frontman

Thin Lizzys music has always meant a lot to me, and it was great to hear that music faithfully played and fitting tribute to Phil who passed away 25 years ago this month

Can't really get my head around Lizzy being a six piece band (wtf).
With respect to Ricky Warwick he didn't cut it for me, as mentioned above by Rob when you watch Lizzy now, you'll always feel that something is missing, which it is. Downey was feckin great as always, Gorham was solid as ever, liked Viv Campbell playing, and Marco Medosa rocked. All in all, a good night out. Would I watch them again? If the line up remained the same, then no.

well 2 honest reviews each differant from 2 more Lizzy die hards to so , my opinion would still stay the same ,and prob on the side with Roj (must be a bass.ist thing ) i didnt go , but to me 3 guitars is a no no and to muddy !
also
Dont like Mendoza never have ! and i will be happy in knowing that i last saw the lizzy line up i like with John Sykes when the band folded with Phil ,God Bless Him , and when it returned returned some years later with Gorham and Sykesy at least

Cheers

I'd have thought about it if Midge Ure would have been there, but to be honest they were never that good without him!!
