Any body gigged this gaf???


Any body played the Barca Bar in castlefield manchester? if so any pointers i.e unloading, steps, power points, parking etc etc.
We are in the Hucknall suite, having checked the Barca website there is lots of glass and or mirrors, :-) not suggesting Mick liked to look at himself.... I mean why would he?

Played there about 10 years ago, so its probably all changed now. The main thing i remember is being in a small room and that they took a line from our desk to the house PA to 'pipe the music' round the bar. Only problem was the only thing going through the PA was the vocals!
Other than that can't remember much, sorry!

yeh I think I did it with my Buskers Ball cronies as part of the In the City about 12 years ago...doesn't it have a lift to upstairs?? We had a PA (of sorts)provided. Seem to remember it was full of trendy young things who didn't give a monkeys and totally humourless bouncers.

They gave us a full day to ourselves...vagely remember being bored by the place around tea time, and totally pissed off at last orders. May have changed though
