interesting article and album sales ive just come across

from the classic rock website

www.classicrockmagazine.com/.../

and amazon, look at the top 100 sellers, best seller a new album by a classic band, and old albums still selling very well, sat comfortably alongside great albums by new/bands formed in the last 10 years

www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=pd_ts_zgc_m_h__690892_mor1

still exciting time for rock and alternative music, long may it continue

just ignore the manafactured pop, its been there as long as i can remember and i dont think its on the increase, rock has always been an albums and gigs situation

im not biased but i think its in rude health, but like has always been the case, its an oral tradition, tell your friends about new bands youve discovered and dont stick to one genre, open those ears and try out new stuff, its great fun, i love getting new bands to add to my faves :0)
