voting nearly over...

Hello everyone on NWB!
How are you all?

Just a quick little update from us. We're entered in the Ready To Rumble Unsigned 2011 battle of the bands competition. If we get through to the final 16, the next stage is the heats at 53 Degrees in Preston (obviously that would be awesome).
If you wouldn't mind, please take a moment to vote for us here:

readytorumbleunsigned.co.uk/.../vote-for-mitford-rebel-to-play-rtr-2011&

We've had a lot of support with it, from local press to our friends and family and it's all very much appreciated. Every vote counts so please cast yours...it literally takes a couple of seconds. :)
Thanks! After the 31st it'll all be in the lap of the gods whether we get through, but the more votes we have, the more chance there is of that happening so y'know... :D

In other news, we went up to Edinburgh on Sunday 23rd for our first Scottish gig. It was also our first gig with new bassist Caz Taylor who did a cracking job. I think it was a bit of a baptism of fire but she totally owned it.
We're all now very much looking forward to playing at Gullivers in Manchester on 4th February. Tickets are £5. It's a Guerilla Radio night so there's a few bands on. It's gonna be great. If you want us to save you a ticket then please give us a shout at mitfordrebel@gmail.com or www.facebook.com/mitfordrebel." rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.facebook.com/mitfordrebel.

Also, we got our 200 Mitford Rebel badges in the post today and we'll be cracking on with our new 5 track EP very soon! We'll keep you posted on that. It's all going on! ^_^

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading!

Jez C, it's a bit of a pain...you have to have Facebook to vote and click on "like" under the "vote band" bit.

Cheers De Mortius! Just give us a shout with your link when you have it. :)

Thanks everyone!

To be fair I think they've tried to make it as confusing as possible so that people will accidentally "like" their page instead of the band's! Bloody buggers.
