TUSKAN - No more....

After many a long year it is time to say goodbye!!!!

A big Thank You to all those venues and drinking public who have supported us over the years.

Rather than fizzle out we decided just to call it a day - and a sad day too - we have had some really good times.

Personally I will be around in BLACK ROSE and N.I.B. (Nativity In Black) - you don't get rid of me that easily!!!.

From an earlier post I know Dave (Bass) is looking for a new venture and I think Nick (Guitar) is too - cannot recommend these guys highly enough if you have a post to fill.

Tracey (what an excellent vocalist I'm sure you all agree) is taking a bit of time off to sort houses out - sure she will be back at some point.

Thanks Nige for all your efforts on the desk - mucho appreciated.

Cheers from all at TUSKAN

Baz

Tuskan wil be sadly missed on the circuit, i'm sure. hopefully though, "as one door closes another one opens"? Baz-i KNOW you'll be a damn good asset to both Black Rose and NIB (can't wait for that one!!)-you all know my feelings on the band and the music you played-you provided me (and the crickie's)with some outstanding nights of Rock, Blues and Fun!!!
As you say,baz-nick and dave two very talented musos who will find a new niche to enjoy-tracey? with that voice and personality it cannot be long before she finds the suitable vehicle for her exceptional talent, methinks.
to this day-the last hours of "alex's birthday bash a la tuskan" are engraved in legend.

Aye tis a sad time. This was my first venture into the classic Rock Metal cover gig scene. Answered an ad abuot 6 year ago (?) and joined up with Tracy Kev (left to join B.Y.D & later Metaleeka)and Nick, did some cracking gigs and great mix of tunes from Hendrix, DC, Zep, Purple, Sabbath, Metallica, Audioslave, Muse, Mortisette, and Scissor Sisters !!! AND LOADS OF OTHERS. Left a little while back and RBaz took over the drummist bit - top bloke and drummer. Have to mention Nige 'roadhog' (Proshine Artworks) for chipping in on the lifting and shifting lights and sound and he's a bloody good artist too - backdrops spraypaint customising. Did some deps where Baz could not make it and had the pleasure of gigging with Kevs replacement Dave.

I have to say if I had not joined Tuskan I probably would not have met the likes of Riff Raff, Sin after Sin as well as the other Deps I went on to do..
I wish everyone who was with Tuskan the very best in their ventures and projects and hope they manage to keep in there with the playing and singing...

R.I.P.

Tuskan

(no 'yay!' this time :( )

Much Lurve

Really sad to hear this news Baz, we always had a soft spot for Tuscan and enjoyed many a gig with you.
Wish you all, Tracey, Nick, Dave and Nige, good fortune in whatever you do next and hopefully see you Baz with Black Rose later in the year.
