Monthly folk club at The Grey Mare in Charlesworth, Derbyshire.
Calling all folkies and acoustic fans especuially those in the Glossop/Tameside ares...........
Starting this coming Thursday Feb 3rd from 9PM onwards, the Grey Mare pub in Charlesworth near Glossop in Derbyshire will be hosting a folk night which is envisaged will take place on the first thursday of each month. Headlining the first event is local singer guitarist and songwriter Neil Fisher who will be playing tracks from his new solo album 'Chordwainer'. Special guest is young Hadfield guitarist Rob Smith who has now gone solo after a stint with indie rockers The Affliction of Margaret. There will also be an open mic opportunity so if anyone fancies giving it a go contact landlords Gordon and Julie on 01457 853828.Of course you can also come along on the night and bring an instrument or two.
