Line 6 DT50 amp & HD Pod Series floor boards

Anybody got one - tried one?

Just wondering if anyone had tried / bought one of these, they come as a 1x12, 2x12 and head version and am seriously tempted, coupled with either the HD300 400 or 500 HD pod it sounds pretty impressive albeit pricey rig. Plenty of clips on you tube but was hoping someone may have had 1st hand experience?

I haven't tried one, but I have a friend in the U.S. who is VERY fussy about the feel and sound of his playing medium has the HD500 and he's extremely happy with it. He uses it in smaller venues when his Mesa Lonestar Special is too big. No idea on the actual Line6 amp though.

Thanks guys -I think the amps are a bit too new yet to have any sort of decent uk review, its not cheap either @£1350 for the 2x12 combo

i've tried the HD 500 and was very impressed with the improvements that Line 6 have made with the amp simulations...much more realistic sound and feel when playing.
To be honest, i wouldn't go for the expensive amp and would just have the Pod HD going straight into a PA mixing desk in stereo and using 2 quality monitors instead. i.e. Atomic Amps "Reactor" active valve wedges www.fractalaudio.com (for hearing your guitar onstage).
I have tried putting previous Pods direct into a quality desk and PA and been amazed by the results.

Thanks Jason

I have checked as many youtube clips and the line 6 demos I can find, the amp seems to sound great on its own but quite a lot of people says it opens the amp up further when you add a pod HD. Problem is 2 atomic reactor wedges are 479 euros each - oh to be loaded!
