at last !! a replacemnet

when i was but a boy I had a 25th Anniversary strat (255282) I learned to play on this beast, until it was nicked out of the boot of the car (Yep Dont leave guitars in cars folks) 27years later Ive finally found a replacement thats still silver (the clear coat yellows due to UV light and the turn green YUK) zero fret wear and its been in its case for 30 years.
Plays and sounds fantastic, will be making occasional appearances at gigs (only come out of the case at night)

261 mate !! used to look up at the offices on the picidilly plaza on our weekly wander around Manchester A1 music , then Yanks records, then Barrats and Renos guitar shops

never saw Renos as I didnt move here till 87. Just remember that just about every flat or bedsit had a 261 sticker in the window!!!
