that we announce the death of our keyboard player Ian Stevens.

Ian joined the band two years ago and, despite severe illness, played some great gigs with the band and never ever gave up hope.

he was a superb musician and we will miss him and his always happy disposition and endless stream of jokes

it was a pleasure and a privilege to have known him.

The very talented Christian Madden will be joining us for future gigs - next one at Bridge Bier Haus on April 24th as part of Burnley Blues Festival.

Am saddened by your loss guys, my sincerest condolences to you guys and primarily his family.

Theres a massive lesson here everybody as demonstrated so nobly by Ian.... We aint here for ever, we all love what we do... so we should take every opportunity to do what we love and share it (and enrich others lives in the process)...

Lump in my fucking throat now .... makes a mockery of the squabbles that have been doing the rounds recently.

All the best x

Let's hope this puts some of the petty rubbish that has happened on here recently into perspective.

Condolences. You can replace a band member but the music will never sound the same again. Everyone has a unique talent to add.

Ian was a great guy...funny,talented and no ego. He fitted in with the band so well...such a shame we didn't get to play more gigs with him - as he was undergoing treatment and was unwell for periods of time. He loved playing with IR and anyone who saw him play could see that! ...we'll miss his great talent and terrible jokes! ;)
Cheers Duncan (International Rescue)
