Long Long Way to Go....Maryport to be exact

Hi All.

Long haul to Maryport for us this weekend.

The Wave Centre to be exact.

Sat 16th April

Looking forward to this venue as first time we played there.

Good luck to all the musicians here working over weekend.

I used to work up there several years ago, lovely people but very strange chippys. I bought what I thought was a rather large fish cake only to discover, upon getting back to my digs, it was a battered meat and potato pie. If you need any help with the language (eh, marrar, gadgy, lilebody etc) just let me know. Another tip....you can easily spot the single lass's....they don't have a black eye.

gadgy and marrer = mate
lilebody = someone small or a child
mrs = punchbag
eh = every other word
leisure = injecting oneself with cattle hormones to end up looking like you're carrying a roll off invisible carpet under each arm and your neck disappears
