Have a look at this:

www.musicradar.com/.../10-best-acoustic-guitars-under-300-217607

I can remember the Lag guitar getting a great review in Guitarist magazine, if you can overlook the fact that it isn't a big 'name'.

I've scanned these pages from the latest Total Guitar Magazine, featuring "electro"-acoustic guitars for under £300.. The Ibanez is the "Group Test Winner".

I needed an Electro acoustic quickly and inexpensively the other week as a replacement- and gigging at some dodgy places etc I did not want to fork out a fortune-

Bought one of these
www.imuso.co.uk/.../Ibanez-SGE130-VS-Sage-Electro-Acoustic-Guitar-Vintage-Sunburst

its UNBELIEVABLE for the price

so I bought another

next model up and these are the only Acoustics I use-

It is in France....
I had one of their basses and the build quality was amazing.
There is even a LAG forum.

try these - i got a 12 string by them' spruce top. mahogany back and sides, action like an electric shredding machine!
They're Australian, never seen them in magazines (probably don't contribute financially with advertising etc.)
Sounds and places beautiful.
