The Glory in Rossendale are taking bookings

Folks; Dave the landlord at The Glory is having another bash at putting bands on. Please read the Glory job description carefully;
1) Do NOT ring or reply to me. Ring him direct on 01706 213779

2) Do NOT ask for Rock Star wages as the Glory is tiny and he can not generate the wages. Remember pubs are closing down every day

3) Do NOT bring 1,2,3 kilowatt PA's and blow the windows out as the punters will NOT like it and it is just not practical

4) Please promote your gig and provide posters

5) Please play with a smile on your face and enjoy it

6) Please be a band that covers all genres wh can entertain a wide and varied age range

This may seem a bit heavy, but there are enough bands out there that do not in any way consider points 2-6 inclusive. If thats you then don't bother. Thanks

PS He has next Bank Holiday Sat and Sunday free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take me with a pinch of salt

The Glory is a cracking little venue, glad to hear Dave is going down the band route again. He is a top guy, looks after the bands that play there. Great locals too, made us feel v welcome the couple of times we played there.
