well............ businesses generally don't do so great when they expect to run on minimal profit margins

shifting units........... means nothing if theres no profit in it!

"Did we see this coming?"

Yep,

There are a few guys on BassChat who work in the Music Retail industry and it has been known for a while that they were on the ropes.
S&T Audio is PMt, so could be "business as usual" when the paperwork goes through.

Always wonder how any music shops survive these days with the internet.....

I have bought a few things from Dolphin over recent years (I wonder how you stand with anything bought from Dolphin and still under guarantee if it goes faulty ?), I have just bought a Korg Microstation, and it was a toss up between buying it from Dolphin or Gak, I ended up getting from Gak (slightly better deal).

They were banking on the sale of a Korg Microstation that fell through and tipped the scales apparently, very sad ;-(

I noticed that they weren't stocking as much of the really high end synths as usual over the last 12 months. Hope nobody loses their jobs.

whenever i shopped online they always came up but were always that bit more expensive. They had a massive website though but that bit more expensive. I do use andertons mainly for their no quibble customer service

They'd price match if you found the item cheaper elsewhere. Their site was top notch too.

The dolphin demise is a bummer for nwb finances as the dolphin ads helped with ££ towards the hosting.

Will need to find if gak or andertons would be willing to advertise on the site.
