anybody with gigs in there

I have just recieved a message from the knowles stating that they have re-opened on friday but are NO LONGER putting bands on...
so anybody with gigs booked ay want to check with them directly but as far as I know that is the situation at the moment.I did hear rumour it was turning into an eating house..how true that is I don't know..

The rumour’s true. I went in this week to have a chat with Anna to see what's happening and the place smells of new carpet! They've decorated and got rid of the booths rather than ripping it apart and starting again, and there's one of those little lecterns by the door for seating customers so it's definitely gone down the food route, which is what it takes to make a go of a pub of it's size, and there are no plans for live entertainment.
