First of all, big thanks to the Millstone in Darwen, staff, sound guys, punters - everyone!!!

Yesterday was our 1st time in Darwen (playing) and playing a festival weekend and to say it didn't go quite to plan would be an understatement!

Some numpty (me) told our drummer he only needed sticks! I must admit, excuse time, I've been a bit off the ball lately and had not properly done my homework. So with 45 mins to go we have no breakables and had only just unloaded.

The decision was the show must go on so it was a race against the clock to Middleton and back!!!! - Al was suddenly the Stig!

I tried to set up what I could whilst stressing out!!

In the meantime, apoligising to staff and the next band on (we offered to shorten our set but they said to just play it all - fair play to them and respect!! - also loved your acoustic version of Mr Brightside - that's definately one to steal!!)

Think drums finally arrived at about 1.50 and we set up and kicked off at 2.00pm. To say we were unprepared and stressed would be putting it mildly!

In the end, we got through and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe not at our best but in the face of it - shit happens!!!!

Must finish of by saying this though, the Millstone is a great set up in everyway, thanks again :0)
