Brilliant TOP venue...thanks for the support & comments.

Played our debut at the Griffin Earlestown last night, now I understand why they have such a demand from bands to play there...a brilliant live music venue with great local support.

Perfect load in, perfect stage set up, great acoustics....Wez a genuinely nice guy, very passionate about live music and was always on hand to help us out throughout the night. Thank you Wez for giving us the opportunity to play there, hope we did you proud fella.

Great to see fellow Punk fans from Warrington and Wigan make the effort to come over, very much appreciated and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Also Gary & Mark from Last Gang in Town...good to catch up with you guys again. Would you believe it the M62 Junc 11-12 was feckin closed on way home, right where we wanted to come off, had to come all the way back & pick up on the East Lancs. Managed to get back just in time for Kebab.

And finally thanks for the comments on our Facebook www.facebook.com/thesugarbullets and the Wigan Punks page run by our vey own Tex.

A good night had by all...

Cheers
Dean, Mike, Phil

Wick...we didn't go to see/support them, or anyone else for that matter, as a favour !!!! Nor do we expect anyone to return said favour. It's about taking an oportunity.
It's rare for us to have a night off when we can see a fellow NWB member at a fairly local venue.
We were out gig hunting in the area and took the oportunity to go see the Sugar Bullets because we wanted to...not as a favour. I always look for NWB bands when I get a night off...Last week I went to see the excellent Lazzy Band in Frodsham. Can't say where I'm going tonight cos it's a suprise and I'm gonna review a band I've been itching to see for a long while...
Sugar Bullets played a good gig and went down well, was a good night. Personally, I thought their set was a little too mainstream, not a criticism of course... I was hoping for a 'forgotten gem' or 2 to inspire me but they kept it 'safe', maybe with it being their debut at a new venue and all that, as we sometimes do...but that's fine cos the punters enjoyed their choice of material...I had to shoot off near the end cos I was up at Dawns Crack to take the oldies to the airport but had a good chat with the lads at the break...all good.

Gary, you so and so !. Didn't mean for it to come over as a "favour" just suggesting that It would be nice to "take an opportunity" to go and see LGIT when The Bullets can, lol.
