Jethro Tull and beyond this friday June 10th

COLD FLAME TO PLAY TULL MUSIC AT THE OMT

Cold Flame are set to return to one of their fave venues this coming Friday June 10th when they play The Old Market Tavern in Altrincham. As with some of their previous appearences at the venue, they will be bringing along flautist Mark Parkinson so expect a plethora of Tull tunes in a two set performance lasting well over 2 hours. The band will also be performinfg a few rocking blues standards for the dancers at the front. The following night sees the band playing in similar fashion with a greater emphasis on the blues at The Friendship in Romiley.

Saw these guys last time round and they are properly good (although i wish they were just a Tull trib!)

If you're free, drop in and see them.

Hey thanks for the endorsement AYP...As stated before the band do perform full scale Tull tribute shows though this has been put on hold with original flautist Pete currently doing other stuff. If the interest and opportunity to return to this format appears then the band will certainly be up for it. The Market Tav gig will feature approx an hour of Tull tunes according to Pat and Phil who were talking about the gig last night.Guess that means the other stuff will be a mix of rocking blues.

Max.
