One man, One guitar, nowhere to hide!
Have just finished editing Mick's Nashup (did you see what I did there....did ya?) from his gig last weekend.
I'm still taken by the extent to which one man and one guitar can fill a room. Anyhow, this has been the trickiest to film and edit so far - much experimenting with angles and colour bleaching. The room itself wasn't the best of backdrops to film against (multiple light sources and ugly paintings etc - sorry venue!). Thankfully, Mick wasn't in the least phased by my cavorting around pointing cameras up his nose, or standing on chairs with it hoisted aloft (note to self....arm really aches half way through song....choose short songs only for overhead filming.....).
Here's the video (in glorious high definition)
And a few more photos which I took for Mick whilst the camcorder was tripod mounted:-
If anyone else wants the Tubthumper treatment just message me - I've a bit of a "waiting" list but I'm trying to keep costs down by working locally (Burnley/Pendle/North Manchester).
Next Up is The Cheating Hearts this afternoon at the Talbot. It won't hurt a bit....
