My first RANT and not my last relating to the current music industry!
1. Publishing! I have nearly nearly nearly had two "good" deals for the eggs songwriting team over the last two years- they fall through at the last minute - not because I am asking to much but because of the BLOOMING internet and availability of free music at the moment- So many bands have their music onlne that the "industry"; can steal rob borrow tunes to their hearts content- many bands now are even offering their music free to various sources- computer games and adverts- All I want is enough dosh to keep my poxy little home studio in CDs and bits --- Any other bands writers of originals feel the same- It is just too difficult now!! 2. endorsement!
