Thank you and good luck
Just a quick note to wish Mr Ben Murray the very best of luck and every success with his new venture; The Black Watch. They have their very first gig tonight at The Town Mouse in Burnley. Good luck also to Josh and Tony, also of The Black Watch.
Whilst we are very sad to see Ben leave Whatever! we cannot take away from him the impact he has had on the band in the short time he has been with us. Ben joined us on a temporary basis in November last year and subsequently begged us to let him stay, After weeks of him getting upset and crying and stuff (which no-one wants to see) we succumbed and let him stay. Anyone who has seen us recently will agree that it was the right decision.
Ben is a top, top singer, an excellent front man and a superb human being and he will be missed - as a friend as much as anything else. He has helped to take the band to another level and has conducted his business in moving to pastures new in the right way - a rarity in this day and age.
All that remains is for us to introduce our new singer/front man - Mr Paul McLaughlin. We auditioned some of the finest talent in Manchester once we knew Ben was leaving and Paul was the best of an exceptional bunch. We have every confidence in Paul and Whatever! will continue from strength to strength. Hopefully, you'll all come and see us soon.
Cheers
Whatever!
