point taken
@ Doghouse Didnt particularly mean you, in fact didnt see yours :D Must have posted same time!
Not sure who you meant particularly but the implication is there - and Rick seems to agree with you.
Janie here from CMD, I was at the gig, twas very good, quite a lively venue , great bar staff and the toilets thank god were clean ~( one of my pet hates lol) . Alec as usual and i've know him for years now was very much on form and presented a brill show, train noises and all. Even had couples up and dancing. Love the blues, love the harmonica and the slide guitar was excellent.
Nah its in general...even when bands do a gig review there's nearly always an element of 'bigging up'. Last year we did a couple of cancellations where the band before had put stuff like 'place was heaving, got ten encores, etc etc'...and when we rolled up there were 3 men and a dog. And when we asked how good it really was week before, were told... empty, band were crap etc etc
and again!
Yeh...thank me too! :D
